Zahraniční návštěvy v BSD

Ve středu 26. dubna 2017 náš navštívili studenti sociální práce z Belgie, kteří byli prostřednictvím VOŠSP Jasmínová na týdenním průzkumu České republiky. Studenti se aktivně zajímali o chod organizace, o její klienty i pracovníky.

Hned druhý den, ve čtvrtek 27. dubna 2017, jsme hostili zaměstnance americké společnosti Cultural Care Au Pair, jejíž nadace Cultural Care Kids First Foundation podpořila svým grantem projekt „Kámoš“. Pro návštěvu bylo přichystáno povídání o chodu organizace a poté jsme se všichni, společně s dětmi z projektu „Kámoš“,  vydali na nedaleké hřiště, kde nás čekali nejrůznější sportovní aktivity.

“The center itself was a bright and open space but I think what was really apparent to me was that the staff members who dedicate themselves to this program are really extraordinary. Listening to the presentation you realize how important a program like this is and that so many children who benefit from their services would otherwise be left in very dire and difficult circumstances.  They showed a slideshow at the end with picture after picture of the kids outside playing, climbing, laughing and really enjoying themselves.  It was clear that this program has, for 12 years, made a real difference.  I was really proud to be a part of this afternoon. We went to a local park and were able to spend some time with some of the kids.  Despite the language barrier, we were able to laugh and play together and I hope that they know how much we enjoyed being able to see them smile.”

A v úterý 16. května 2017 jsme v našich prostorách přivítali zahraniční hosty „Kulatého stolu k tématu transformace systému péče o ohrožené děti“, který den před tím pořádala Vteřina poté. Jmenovitě pak Franka Henschela z Universität Bremen, Katerinu Nanou z organizace Eurochild a Michal Ďorďe z Vteřiny poté. Za příjemné posezení u kávy a milá slova podpory moc děkujeme!
